Working at Heights Refresher Training (Chief Prevention Officer Approved)
This Ontario Chief Prevention Officer approved Working at Heights Refresher Training course is required every three years for anyone that has successfully completed an CPO approved Working at Heights Training course. This course will be mostly a “practical skills” refresher with some class room instruction on any changes and updates to applicable Health and Safety and Working at Heights legislation and equipment standards.
Classes have a 12 to 1 student/instructor ratio. This is to comply with the standard established by the CPO and allows for increased hands on training time resulting in a better trained and safer worker. Successful completion of the refresher training will re-validate a learner’s working at heights training for another three-year period from the date of successful completion of the refresher. Knowledge verification will include evaluation of practical skills and a written test.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a CPO approved record of training wallet card.
