The two-day Carpet Repair and Reinstallation Technician (RRT) course teaches techniques and safety issues related to carpet repair and reinstallation, carpet construction, inspection process prior to cleaning, tools of the trade, floor preparation, adhesives, carpet cushion installation, tackless strip and moldings, seaming, and proper stretching. This class also teaches various repairs that the carpet cleaner/restorer may come up against while dealing with an installed textile. This knowledge will help the technician recognize and avoid installation problems that may arise while performing carpet cleaning and how to correct many issues encountered.

Additional Considerations:
1. This course is available online and in person. If attending online, the students must always be able to see and hear the instructor, and the instructor must always be able to see and hear all students, so a webcam, microphone, and strong internet signal are required.

Course manuals will be shipped after registration forms have been processed (approximately 2-3 days). If attending in person, all course materials will be provided in the classroom. Before the start of class, an electronic course book will be provided.
3. We will provide a meeting link to the students registered for the online course approximately one week before the course begins.

Exam registration link will be provided in the same email as the meeting link. If you are writing the exam for the certification, it is recommended to register for the exam as soon as possible.
5.
Including the final day of class, students have
45 consecutive days to complete the exam ending at 11:59 PM EST on the last day.
6. Picture ID is required for online student to enroll and is also required again to write the exam.
