The media is constructed with thermally bonded denier fibers that create an excellent balance of efficiency, dust-holding, resistance and integrity. Synthetic media is effective in light and moderate dirt environments. It is an upgrade to fiberglass due to its greater level of efficiency and non-shed characteristics. It is much more user-friendly than fiberglass due to the nature of the media. The coating will not migrate from the media in the system or in storage. The media is designed to operate in 100% humidity conditions. Synthetic media is an economical and user-friendly method of providing filtration. This media is commonly used in rooftop units, industrial, commercial, and residential applications. It is an excellent upgrade to throwaway filters by installing pad holding frames and inserting pre-cut pads. This practice is used in situations where moisture is a problem and filter integrity is lost. Media is rated class 2.
